Pet Pawrade at the University Grounds

On November 13, the Pet Pawrade commenced at the University grounds through the XU Central Student Government Office of the Vice President (CSG-OVP) Advocacy Division.
The event featured 14 cats and dogs roaming around campus to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. Dubbed the “March of Pawsitivity,” it aimed to de-stress the community.
CSG Vice President Janson Sudaria (ABIS 4) expressed that the event was an avenue for student relaxation: “We hope this event will continue to be implemented in the foreseeable future.”
Meanwhile, Pawrade Project Head Kyle Sekizawa (BS CON 2) shared, “We intended to hold the event during semi-finals week for a morale boost and to give students something to look forward to, promoting mental health amidst the hectic week.”

The event was held in collaboration with the United Arts and Sciences Council (UNITASS), Assembly of Extra-Curricular Organization – Pet Society (AECO – PETSOC) and CSG Department of Health and Welfare Services (CSG Kalinga).
