Computer Studies Student Council – Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the highest legislative body of the Computer Studies Student Council, vested with the authority to formulate policies, enact resolutions and laws, and confirm executive appointments. It is composed of the Vice President (as Convener), Chairpersons of each year level, and Presidents of Co-Curricular Organizations under the College of Computer Studies. A Legislative Secretary, appointed by the Convener, serves without voting power and ensures documentation of proceedings.

The Board enacts laws through a three-reading process, subject to constitutional review by the Court of Justice. Enactments, once approved by the President or passed over a veto, become permanent unless amended. Resolutions are effective for the academic year. The Vice President only votes to break ties, maintaining balance in proceedings. Through structured deliberations, fiscal oversight, and policy-making, the Board of Directors safeguards participatory and accountable governance for all Computer Studies students.
